Claim your roll-over place to ride in 2021 (existing 2020 registrants) – Detailed terms
We commit to ALL riders previously registered for the postponed 2020 UK North and South routes that we will either:
> HONOUR your booked services, once you re-register for free (via ‘Just Ride’ option).
> UPGRADE providing you the option to move to our ‘Best Value Rider’ package at a discount. Note: If you had previously paid in 2020 for any now duplicated services, i.e. Bag transfer, meals, these will be refunded back to you alongside your upgrade.
> REFUND if you wish, you can email us to cancel you previously booked ride and services. Note: Your existing services will be cancelled and refunded if you choose no action within the re-registration period.
Please refer to our HOW TO GUIDE FOR DISCOUNT CODES box (in the re-registration email you have received) which explains how to generate your own unique rider discount codes, which you apply at the checkout basket stage of the 2021 registration process from our chasethesun.org website via Active system.
RIDER REGISTRATION – to reclaim your free place to ride Chase the Sun (UK North or South), please re-register your details under the ‘JUST RIDE’ option of your selected route, and utilise the first discount code ‘JR100CODE….(add your regID)’ as featured in HowToImage in the email, at checkout to generate a 100% discount.
IF you previously had booked any MEALS, BAG TRANSFER SERVICES, LONG STAY PARKING, RETURN MINIBUS etc, for either North or South UK routes then you have options:
We will honour your previously booked service, if you are re-registering to ‘Just Ride’ for free using same code as above.
We offer to you a separate -£20 discount code if you would like to upgrade to our new ‘Best Value Rider’ package, to do this utilise the second discount code ‘BVR20CODE….(add your regID)’ as featured in HowToImage above, at checkout to generate the discount. This new package includes for you our popular limited edition jersey, as well as two evening meals, and complimentary bag transfer service too. (Note that existing Long stay parking and Minibus transfer bookings paid for in 2020 will also be honoured if you take this option. Any now duplicated services, i.e. Bag transfer, meals, these will be refunded back to you alongside your upgrade, but please allow approx 2 weeks for this refund to be processed.)
If you are one of the lucky few to have retained one of our 2020 ‘All-In’ paid for ACCOMMODATION PACKAGE (for UK North route), then we will honour the terms, services and pricing of last years packages, all you need to do is re-confirm that you will be riding next summer by sending us an email. You may notice that prices for new 2021 packages have increased, as these are now inclusive of a limited edition ride jersey per rider. If you wish to have a jersey, these will become available to purchase separately later in the spring through the CTS website shop, watch for the email updates.
If you had generously provided a DONATION to support CTS during the previous sign-up, then we thankyou again for your essential support. Please find our offer of -£20 discount code for the new ‘BEST VALUE RIDER’ package as a small thankyou gesture. Your donation and support means a lot to us at CTS, both in allowing us to operate to date, and in supporting our charity partner LifeCycle UK.
Of course, if you now wish not to ride, and to CANCEL and REFUND any of your previous services or bookings, then you can do so by please emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org to instruct, and we can process a refund, subject to a deduction of admin fees as per previous T&C’s.
You have only until 16th December to act to confirm a re-registration with these offers. Anyone who does not Activate a new registration by this date, will have their previous registrations and bookings cancelled (and paid services refunded) after this time period expires.
Previously registered Support drivers need not provide a new registration. It is sufficient for the relevant riders to name their support drivers within the relevant field on the new registration forms.
Please note that your discounts are valid only for the same route that you had previously registered for.
Your unique discount codes are for use by yourself only. No transfers or sharing of the codes to others are permitted. Any bookings found to be made using invalid codes will be cancelled.
Please note that it is a product of our third party booking system that you will again be required to pay a small percentage admin fee (equating to £2 Just Ride, £4 Best Value Rider, £6 All-In packages) during the re-registration process. We hope you understand this is beyond our control, and these fees are also non-refundable.
