It’s the party of the year on the Pier !
Chase the Sun South returns to its very roots at the original finish destination, welcoming all riders exhausted and elated to a new unique finish line upon the Grand Pier in Weston-Super-Mare.

Fish, chips, and sunset photo’s aplenty. Hundreds of riders settled in for a beer and to soak up a perfect ending to the mid-summer’s evening – cheering their fellow adventurers riding up along the pier. We were delighted to again welcome our stalwart Alastair, local town crier, who provided a unique welcome to every rider at the finish – huge thanks!

A record 755 starters, 673 finishers, with 519 successfully arriving before sunset… Congratulations to all riders, who were blessed with good weather this year! You can also set out to tackle our other even more scenic routes across North, Ireland and Italy for next year – collect all our uniquely different coast to coast experiences!

Keiran Clarke – riding solo, he blazed a trail across the mid-summer countryside to reach the pier in ample time to celebrate with his dedicated support crew of Mum and Dad, a true team effort together on a day to remember.
