From Adriatic to Tirrenean coasts – hundreds of cyclists Chase the Sun across Italy! The famous Italian spirit of hospitality welcomes riders from all around the globe to Chase the Sun. A hearty new welcome dinner at historic “Museo della Marineria” celebrates the ancient fishermen of the start-town in Cesenatico. Well-prepared, the rider’s departed at sunrise on route across the Tuscan hills and Apennine mountains. The temperature was not too hot, but this year a fresh head-wind provided a challenge for everyone!

255 riders started, 231 finishers reaching the coast, and of these all but a handful reaching the sea in time before sunset… Congratulations to all you successful cyclists for Chasing the Sun Italia in 2024!
