Meet the Chase The Sun ambassadors

Amanda
You might recognise Amanda from the Chasing The Sun film released in 2023, which followed her journey on the UK South route. Amanda has completed Chase The Sun UK South and the UK North route as well. Amanda will be sharing top tips on how to approach training and hot weather.
Roanna
One of Cycling UK’s 2025 100 Women in Cycling, Roanna is the founder of Girls That Ride Bikes, a Dorset-based cycling community focused on riding without pressure or judgement. She also runs the GTRB Wild Weekender, a cycling festival for women. Roanna has completed the UK South and UK North routes and has ridden Chase The Sun in a relay and as a solo rider. Ronanna will be sharing tips on event participation alongside periods and how to manage fatigue.
Alice
Known for her @AliceBeActive Instagram account, Alice has completed Chase The Sun twice – once with just two weeks of training (yes, really!) and once with a more structured approach. Alice has tips on nutrition and support vehicles.
Debbie
A former Duathlon World Champion, midlife and menopause advocate, and known for her Instagram account @duathlongirluk, Debbie is currently preparing for her first Chase The Sun ride. She’ll be sharing valuable advice on mindset, confidence, and preparation for long-distance cycling events.
