Life Cycle is a UK based charity whose work helps change attitudes and behavior towards cycling by giving people the skills and confidence they need to cycle safely. They also offer practical, targeted support to individuals with disabilities, mental health illness, offenders, isolated older people and disadvantaged young people through a range of “Inclusive Cycling Projects”.
Since 2019, Chase the Sun has been able to support these worthy aims through our pledge to donate a proportion of our proceeds from each ride. Thanks to our riders and supporters who enable us to do this.
In the summer of 2020 we were able to visit the LifeCycle workshops in Bristol, to meet with theirs dedicated team there whilst understanding and witnessing their latest efforts towards transforming peoples lives through the power of cycling. We were able to proudly present them with a cheque donation from our previous years riders. Becky from Lifecycle kindly wrote the following article explaining bit more about how the LifeCycle team had themselves got involved in Chase the Sun, undertaking the first edition of the CTS North challenge.
Visit the website of LifeCycleUK to find out more about their organisation.
Best wishes and happy pedalling.
